Mansfield Methodist Church (Big Barn Lane)

Mansfield Methodist Church (Big Barn Lane) MMC@MMC is a community church for the community. We hold a weekly Sunday service at 10.15am which everyone is welcome to with refreshments afterwards. Holy Communion is taken once a month as advertised on the Preaching Plan [hyperlink page]. A loop system is in place for those who are hearing impaired and the building is accessible for the disabled.

We care for each other and seek to put our faith into action in our lives, sharing the love of God that we know in Jesus Christ.

We have a weekly social group called “Friends on Monday” – meeting together at 2pm for chat, mutual support, refreshments and other activities such as Bible Study and occasional guest speakers.

A regular Bible Study Group meets on Wednesday afternoons at 1.30pm.

Sunbeams, our Toddler Group is very popular on Friday mornings and can be booked via the Facebook page [hyperlink].

The church building/hall is host to different community groups such as:

-        Beavers, Rainbows, Brownies & Guides

-        Jiggy Wrigglers

-        Slimming World

-        James Maunde Camera Club

-        St Mary’s Indian Church

We welcome community and private lettings for regular or one-off bookings for both the church and the church hall which offer flexible use. Both have well-equipped kitchen facilities. Details are available on request.
